2On Thursday, July 9, 2020, and Sunday, July 12, 2020, we packed and distributed essential supplies for the homeless, who are facing even greater difficulties during COVID-19.

Seven members of the AW community gathered at Joy House to prepare care packages filled with snacks and hygiene items. Together with Pastor Billy Noh, who serves in homeless ministry, two members went around eight areas of Los Angeles to hand out the packages. Special packages were also prepared for women and delivered to homeless women in need.

In addition, care packages were delivered to a homeless shelter in Valencia through Pastor Billy Noh. The shelter usually hosts around 25 homeless women, but the number has reportedly increased recently.

On Sunday, July 12, we plan to distribute packages along with pizza at MacArthur Park in Los Angeles.
